New Year message from Kancho Maciej Misiak
Dear KyodoKyokushin Members and sympathizers,
As we step into the New Year of 2024, I extend my best wishes to each one of you. May this year bring new opportunities for growth and success in both personal and organizational endeavors. An especially significant highlight awaits us with the upcoming WORLD CUP scheduled for April 2024 – the most important event for our Organization since 2019.
Reflecting on the achievements of 2023, our International Budokai Union (IBU) has expanded and reached to 81 member countries worldwide. We now proudly boast over 2000 black belts, including 100 Shihans, propelling us to a leading position in the Kyokushin World.
Throughout the past year, I had the privilege of visiting Netherlands, Finland, India, Indonesia, Italy, and Tunisia. KyodoKyokushin members, including myself, actively participated in KWU events. Following constructive discussions with the General Secretary, we enthusiastically decided to engage in upcoming events hosted by this Union worldwide. This strategic move positions KyodoKyokushin as an equal and respected partner among other martial arts organizations.
In conclusion, I extend warm wishes to you all for a HAPPY NEW YEAR, filled with prosperity and joy. I look forward to the prospect of our collective gathering in Poland for our International event.
Osu
